Happy Halloween to all you ghouls and goblins!

There were tons of events that happened over the weekend, and not just Halloween-themed events.

Did you make it to ArroyoFest??

The City of LA closed the 110 freeway for pedestrians and bikes/skateboards in both directions for 4 hours on Sunday morning.

The closing of the 110 freeway was a once-in-a-generation event as the last time they did this was in 2003.

Given the crazy turnout it is an event that hopefully occurs more often than once every 2 decades.

There’s a lot of news to catch up on, as always, including a new Pixar themed hotel near Disneyland, a ban on artificial turf, a discovery that tacos are shrinking (!!!), among others listed below.

The Santa Ana winds are picking up this week, which increases fire risk.

Everyone’s situation is different so make sure you take the time to prepare in the event of a fire event.
